I’ve been MIA

You may or may not have noticed that I’ve been quiet on social media lately. I decided to take a little social media break— I even deleted the apps off my phone — and it’s been… interesting.

At first, I had withdrawals. I caught myself reaching for my phone constantly, feeling like I was missing out on something. But deep down, I knew that was just the addiction talking — trying to pull me back in.

I’ve stayed pretty strong (though I’ve downloaded the apps a few times just to check messages and make sure I wasn’t missing anything from you!). But what’s surprised me most is how different it feels now when I go back on.

Instead of feeling inspired, I felt this heaviness — like a hangover of toxic energy. I noticed that quick dopamine hit when scrolling, but it didn’t feel good anymore. It felt like I was doing something bad for my mind, body, and spirit.

So where does that leave a small business owner who doesn’t really want to be on social media anymore? Honestly… I’m not sure. I don’t know exactly what this will look like moving forward, but I do know this:
I want to stay connected to YOU — and continue showing up where I can do the most good.

This time away has given me something I didn’t realize I was missing: presence.

Time with my kids and husband.
Time not spent worrying about the news or the next daily crisis.
Time to pray, to read, to listen — and to feel God really moving in my life.

I’ve felt a deep realignment happening — a sense that I’m turning more toward my God-given purpose, which right now looks like turning inward and tuning out the noise of the world.

And because I care deeply about your mind, body, and spirit, I wanted to share this with you — not as a “business update,” but as an invitation.

I’m inviting you to try your own social media detox.
See what happens when you step away for a bit.
What whispers do you hear in the quiet?
What rises up when you stop running from the stillness?

Give yourself permission to slow down.
To wake up with the morning light instead of your feed.
To end your day in prayer instead of scrolling.

That’s the medicine. 💛

With love,
